PERRIS, CA (January 22) - Following is the format for the 2015 PASSCAR Pursuit Championship at Perris Auto Speedway for the Street Stocks, Super Stocks and Factory Stocks. In addition to being a member of IMCA they will have additional insurance coverage for their events. The IMCA Modified rules are posted at  https://www.imca.com/rules/modified/.

2015 PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT

All PASSCAR Divisions (Street Stock, Super Stocks and Factory Stocks) will decide their season Championships in the following manner;

You MUST be a PASSCAR Member to participate in the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP.

Each Division will have seven Drivers (SUPER SEVEN) Qualify for the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP Main Event on OCTOBER 24, 2015 starting with the first qualifying Main Event on MARCH 14th. The Super Seven can be increased based on added events (Fair Race).

Any Driver that wins one of the first seven Qualifying Races will automatically earn a spot in the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP Main Event on October 24th. If a Driver cannot compete in the first qualifying Main Event on March 14th, they can enter the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP by being a member of PASSCAR and starting their Pursuit on April 11th. After the April 11th event the field for the pursuit will be locked in. ANY DRIVER THAT MISSES (does not enter the event and attempt to qualify) MORE THAN ONE RACE AFTER THEY HAVE ENTERED THE PURSUIT, WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE PURSUIT. It is in the Drivers best interest to start the Pursuit on March 14th in case a portion of the Super Seven is filled by points.

If there is not seven different winners of the Qualifying Races, the remaining spots will be filled with Drivers that have highest points during the Qualifying Races that do not have a win.

The SUPER SEVEN will not have to run Heat Races in order to earn their spot in the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP Main Event on October 24th. The first seven starting spots for this race will be as follows; The Driver that has the most wins will start on the Pole. Should there be a tie for most wins, the tie will be broken based on points. The remaining spots will be filled in the same manner.

Each PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP Main Event will be 30 Laps.

The highest finishing Driver at the Checkered Flag in the PASSCAR PURSUIT CHAMPIONSHIP Main Event from the SUPER SEVEN WILL BE THAT'S DIVISIONS CHAMPION!

EACH CHAMPION WILL RECEIVE A $1,000 BONUS FOR WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
