A few thoughts, rather than one of my long winded articles

Been a number of years since I was out there. Went for years, wrote, announced, fought for the cause, anyway...
Late Models: Had 12 cars, but Newquist lost a driveline in the Trophy Dash and went to a backup car. Decker led the way, but Duane Cleveland and Richard Papenhausen made him work for it. Pretty good race. This Late Model thing has potential. We'll see where it goes.
Dirt Mods Hogge and Busby were in another time zone. They were gone. Reminded me of those two in the '90's. Hogge had motor problems on Lap 15, or he might have won. Busby added another one to his total as the all time Dirt Mod win leader. DeCarlo is the point leader over Busby. I'm curious if either of them will go for that. Busby didn't seem to indicate that was his plan when we spoke. We'll see.
Wingless Spec Sprints Car count is a little light since the rule changes, but close race. Bakkie gave Fisher all he could handle that last lap, but the old man held him off. This always was a good class, but as a founder of it I'm a bit biased I suppose

Panfilli may finally win his first feature this year.
Hobby Stocks Baldwin drove a great race. No yellows. Jeremy Jennings made a move on him, but then he had steering issues and nearly spun out. That enabled Myers to get by, but Jennings still got a third Could be a shoot out season between Myers, Oreta and Baldwin, which would make it an exciting battle.
Dwarf Cars Biggest car count. Wagner had it, then lost it, then regained it on the last lap, A couple of Dwarf Car champions in Wagner and Dutra fighting it out. I was just commenting in an article I did that most people don't necessarily come to see Dwarf Cars, but those guys put on a good show most times.
Al in all, not a bad show. Late Models are back this week, so it will be interesting to see what happens. Sport Mods make a season debut. I'm hearing all this talk about new cars, so we'll see what they have. Should be good.
