Watsonville, CA...June 17..Brad Furr drove to victory in the 30 lap Taco Bravo Sprint Car Main Event Friday night at Ocean Speedway.  Other winners on the night included Chris Falkenberg (IMCA Sport Modifieds), Robert Gallaher (American Stocks) and Jason Womack (Mini Stocks).

Seavy faded late as Scott Parker was third ahead of Chris Markle, Koen Shaw, Tarlton, Seavy, Buddy Kofoid, Dustin Golobic and Cole Macedo.

Chris Falkenberg returned to Ocean Speedway and drove to an impressive victory in the 20 lap IMCA Sport Modified Main Event.  Falkenberg took the lead from Adrian DeSousa on a lap 10 restart and would lead the rest of the way with a winning margin of about a straightaway.  After winning the heat race ahead of Justin McPherson, Dennis Simonovich made a lap 18 pass on DeSousa to pick up a second place feature finish.  DeSousa settled for third ahead of McPherson, point leader Jim DiGiovanni, Anthony Giuliani, Paul Mulder and Shane DeVolder.

Robert Gallaher won the 20 lap American Stock Main Event after earlier holding off Katie Briggs to win the heat race.  Tony Olivera led a few early laps before Gallaher raced by for the lead.  William Kennedy took third from Briggs on lap seven, but his race ended a lap later with mechanical issues.  Gallaher led the restart and would go on stretch his lead to over a straightaway on Olivera.  Briggs finished third ahead of George Fernandez, John Farrell and Kennedy.

Manteca visitor Jason Womack made a last lap pass on Dennis Keldsen Jr to win the 20 lap Mini Stock Main Event.  Womack had earlier won the heat race ahead of point leader Kate Beardsley.  Keldsen led most of the way, but Womack ran close behind him for most of the distance before making his move late.  Keldsen lost the lead on the last lap a week ago to Chris Corder. This time it was Womack making the winning move.  Womack would win with Keldsen a disappointed second.  Lucy Falkenberg was a career best third ahead of Corder, K. Beardsley, Mark Fields, Bill Beardsley and Paul Laoretti.
