Tyler Co Black Diamond/WV State Championship Race & Dog Hollow Added to UFo Tour

(MARS PA) - The first night of action of Tyler County Speedway's new mega-event has been added to the Unified Force Race Championship schedule and the Dog Hollow Speedway will hold its first-ever UFo event. "The WV State Championship" during "The Black Diamond" weekend will be the 3rd UFo event at Tyler County Speedway in 2010. UFo will zoom into the Dog Hollow Speedway in July with a special Sunday night UFo event.

"The Black Diamond" will shake the hills of West Virginia on Friday-Saturday-Sunday, September 3-4-5. This new event will pay approximately $220,000 for all classes. The 3 day weekend will kick off on Friday Night, September 3 with the "WV State Championship" for UFo Super Late Models. A full racing program will be run on Friday night with heats, consolations and an Area 51-lap championship paying $10,000 to win.

The winner of the "WV State Championship" feature will be a guaranteed starter for one of Saturday night's feature events. UFo points will be awarded for Friday night only. A $3,000 to win FASTRAK Late Model regional touring race will be run as a companion event with the UFo Super Late Models on Friday night, along with the track's regular divisions.

On Saturday night, September 4, the Super Late Models will compete for the biggest prize payoff ever paid on a ¼ mile track in the "Black Diamond 125." The field will be spilt, and each half of the field will compete in a full racing program among their group leading up to twin qualifying features. The top finishers from each feature will then transfer to a final shootout feature. A total of $50,000 to win will be paid for the 3 feature events on Saturday night, and a driver that wins both their qualifying feature and the final shootout feature will be able to collect the entire $50,000 with the bonus money that is being offered. With the spilt field format, the 48th place finisher on Saturday is guaranteed a whopping $1,000 payday. Adding the $10,000 to win for the UFo "WV State Championship," an amazing $60,000 total to win will be paid out at TylerCounty!

The E-mods will have their turn in the spotlight on Sunday night at TylerCounty on Sunday, September 5 with the "Modified National Championship". This 100 lap feature event will pay $10,000 to win for the open wheel monsters.

With the Hillbilly 100 taking place on Sunday September 5 at West Virginia Motor Speedway paying $42,000 to the winner, over $100,000 to win will be up for grabs in the state of West Virginia during Labor Day weekend. History will be made as it will be the biggest total racing weekend ever to be held in the mountain state.

Dog Hollow Speedway will host its inaugural UFo Race Championship event on Sunday Night, July 11. The 44-lap UFo Super Late Model championship will feature pay $5,000 to win. The semi-banked 4/10 mile is located east of Indiana, PA at Strongstown is in its 13th year of operation. That track is located in the same county where the first-ever UFo race was held in 2008. Dog Hollow's wide-open design provides a racey track for competitors and an excellent view of the action for race fans.

Dog Hollow Speedway has cranked up their Super Late Model program over the last season with the Coal Country Championship for their weekly competitors in cooperation with Marion Center Speedway. The Super Late Model car counts increased at Dog Hollow in 2009, averaging a full field each week. With Dog Hollow's strong home field of Super Late Models, the track's central location and the Sunday race date, this event promises to be a spectacular show down of power among the top-rated drivers in the region.

A few modifications have been made to the previously released schedule. The challenge events scheduled at Hesston Speedway & Bedford Speedway will be held soley under the 3 State Flyer banner. The UFo Race Championship, 3 State Flyers, Hesston & Bedford will continue to communicate and work together to strengthen Super Late Model racing.
