NeSMITH CHEVROLET WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 7 PREVIEW

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 7 of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will feature 11 events with six races in the East Region and five races in the West Region. Chase Edge of Lafayette, AL leads the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region point standings and defending and three time Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS leads the West Region.

East Region Week 7 action begins on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL, and preliminary events will be held at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL for the Red Farmer Classic that will have a feature race on Saturday night paying $970-to-win.

Other Saturday night NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region events are scheduled for East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL, Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL, Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville, TN, and New Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA.

The NeSmith Chevrolet WRS Week 7 West Region competition begins on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL. Saturday night NeSmith Chevrolet WRS West Region events are scheduled for A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA, Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

The Whynot Motorsports Park race will be Round 1 of the I-20 Challenge and pay $1,000-to-win. Round 2 of the I-20 Challenge will be a $1,000-to-win race on May 22 at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS.
