Friday Night Rumble and Fall Classic to be NASRA Sanctioned at Ponderosa Speedway

Junction City, KY-August 3, 2010- Ponderosa Speedway new track promoters Donnie and Angie Sullivan, and son Donnie, Jr., are pleased to announce that the National All Star Racing Association will sanction the track’s 4th Annual Friday Night Rumble on Friday October 1 and the track’s marquee event, the 20th Annual Fall Classic, on Saturday October 2.

On Friday October 1, the NASRA group will sanction the 4th Annual Friday Night Rumble, featuring a $2,000 to win event for the NASRA Super Late Models, along with $1,000 to win for the Clayton Homes UMP Modifieds and $800 for the Bob Allen Motor Mall Pro Late Models, while the D&D Pallet Recyclers UMP Sportsman will have the night off.

On Saturday October 2, NASRA will sanction the 20th edition of the Fall Classic, paying $5,000 to win for the NASRA Super Late Models, along with the Clayton Homes UMP Modifieds again racing for $1,000 to win and the D&D Pallet Recyclers will be in action for $500 to win, while the Bob Allen Motor Mall Pro Late Models will have the night off.

Ponderosa Speedway is located just off of 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Donnie and Angie Sullivan, along with their son Donnie, Jr., are the new track promoters and will present dirt track sports entertainment on Friday evenings throughout the remainder of the 2010 race season.
