Tire Rule for Saturday August 7 at Wythe Raceway
(Carolina Clash SLM Series and Volunteer Racing Series Co-Sanctioned Event)

The tire rule for this event will be as follows: Hoosier: 1200, 1350, and 1600 or American Racer: 12/38, 48, and 56. Only these compounds will be permitted on all four wheels. Grooving, Siping, and Needling will be allowed for this event. No Tire softeners, conditioners, or chemically altered tires will be allowed.

Drivers will time trial in their respected groups, two (2) cars at a time. Everyone will run a qualifying heat followed by B-Main and the 40-lap/$5,000 to win a-main. The winner of each qualifying heat will re-draw for starting positions 1 through 4. All 2nd place finishers in the qualifying heat races will re-draw for starting positions 5 through 8. 3rd place finishers will re-draw for starting positions 9 through12 and 4th place finishers will re-draw for positions 13 through 16. The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series and Volunteer Racing Series will have two (2) provisionals each. Wythe Raceway will provide transponders.
