Kankakee County Speedway racing on September 10

Kankakee County Speedway has announced that racing on Friday, September 10th, will in fact be a points paying night at the speedway again this year. "We have been victimized enough this year with inclement weather, so we feel we must use this night as a points night opportunity, said promoter Tom Smith. "Perhaps next year, if the weather cooperates, we can revisit this weekend as either an off weekend or a throw-away weekend" he added.

The night will feature racing in five divisions including the UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Stock Cars, and one other division to be announced soon as well as the return of the Illini Racing Series Midgets.

For those drivers, and/or fans that want to go elsewhere that weekend (Eldora's World 100), please do so and go have a great time. For those of you that are not going and are looking for a place to race, Kankakee County Speedway will be here open and waiting for you.
