Columbus Speedway Winter Classic Canceled

Columbus, Mississippi (01/02/11) – The annual Winter Classic slated for Saturday, January 22nd at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi has been canceled. Columbus Speedway staff originally planned to host the annual event, however, recent heavy rains have created issues and slowed planned maintenance at the facility preventing it from being ready for the event.

Johnny Stokes told me at the Ice Bowl that the front wall fell down, like dominos, one section flopped over, then a day or 2 later another, then another, and so on.
