ULTIMATE Series 311 Tire Test Results + Series Tire Rule Amendment

Tire testing results from the Ultimate Super Late Model race at 311 Speedway are back. The samples from both drivers Jonathan Davenport, and Steve Shaver were found to meet the benchmark as set by Hoosier. Both drivers will retain their finishing position, points earned and all money, awards. Neither driver will face any penalties and/or fines.

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series tire sampling will continue at each event with the results being posted directly on the web site (www.ultimatesupers.com) and posted on the side of the series tech trailer at the following event. The Ultimate Super Late model Series reserves the right to get a sample from any competitor at any time during any USLMS sanctioned event.

Drivers that are caught with tires that do not meet the benchmark set by Hoosier will face fines and/or suspensions before being allowed to compete in and any further USLMS events.

****Ultimate Super Late Model Series makes the following adjustments to the tire rule going into effect immediately for our next event April 16th at the Gordon Park Speedway:

4/11/2011 AMENDED TIRE RULE: 1300-1350-1600 spec 70/2700
Grooving and siping is allowed.
Tires can be grooved and/or siped at the teams discretion
