RECORD FLOODING FORCES PADUCAH INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY TO POSTPONE FRIDAY APRIL 29TH RACING

Paducah, KY - - - Due to record amounts of rainfall and rising river levels Paducah International Raceway has been forced to postpone racing set for this Friday April 29th. At this time the roads leading to the race track as well as the track itself are in standing water.

We are monitoring the flooding situation constantly and will resume our weekly schedule as soon as the water recedes.

For updated information on when racing will resume at PIR, please check the track hotline at 270 898-7490 or check our web site @ www.paducahracing.com and on our facebook page.

COMP Cams Super Dirt Series at Batesville Rained Out Again

Beebe, Arkansas (04/28/11) – For the second Friday in a row the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series scheduled for Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) has been canceled due to rain. Torrential rains and widespread flooding throughout the area have left officials with no other choice, but to cancel. A possible reschedule date is being evaluated.

On a brighter note, the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series and Mid America Racing Series challenge event that was rained out for last Saturday, April 23rd at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 13th. The $3,000 to win/$400 to start event will be the second night of a doubleheader for the CCSDS, which will begin on Friday night, August 12th at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) with a $2,000 to win/$300 to start event.

The CCSDS will now turn their attention to next weekend May 5th-7th, as the tour hosts a triple header in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The three day swing begins on Thursday at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) before moving to Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) on Friday night and wrapping up on Saturday night at Crawford County Speedway (Van Buren, Arkansas). POSTPONED DUE TO TORNATO's & DEVISTATION: SLM's at CLEVELAND SPEEDWAY SATURDAY APRIL 30th

Cleveland, TN (4/28/2011) - Due to Wednesday's Tornato's and Devistation in the area, Cleveland Speedway is postponing this Saturday nights racing program, the unsanctioned SLM $3,000 to-WIN 40-Lap "TN SPRING FLING" presented by Cleveland Fasteners. It will be rescheduled and announced at a later date. Many of the tracks family and workers have suffered loss of one type or another through the April 26th storms that pounded the area.
