Brady Smith Takes Home NCRA Late Model Loot from Junction Motor Speedway

MCCOOL JUNCTION, Nebraska (May 28) - Brady Smith of Solon Springs, Wisconsin started on the pole and was never seriously challenged in claiming his first career National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley’s Racing Products DIRTcar late model feature Saturday night at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska.

Smith, driving the Vic Hill Racing Engine powered Bloomquist chassis, led wire to wire the 30 lap feature finale with Mount Vernon, Iowa’s Chad Simpson staying within striking distance throughout but couldn’t overtake Smith for the victory. Jason Ruen, series regular Corey Zeitner and Al Humphrey rounded out the top five.

Smith, Bo Egge, Mike Wiarda and Robb Moss topped the ten lap heat race action for the thirty-eight car field with Smith earning the most heat race and passing points to earn the pole position for the $2500 to win feature finale. Mike Wiarda and Robb Moss claimed the two “B” features.
