UFo Set to Invade PPMS FOR PENNational Super Late Model Championships

PITTSBURGH, PA - June 7, 2011- Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will host the stars of the UFo Racing Series as "Dirt's Monster Half Mile" will host the PENNational Super Late Model Championships this Saturday, June 11th.

This unique event will showcase the Super Late Model stars in twin 28-lap feature events, with a total of $4,000 to win both races or $2,000 to win each race. The UFo twin feature format always provides exciting racing and distributes the payoff more evenly among the race teams. The 100-ft wide surface at PPMS is the stage for three and even four wide racing action. John Flinner captured the event in 2009 and was also a co-champion in 2010 as he and Mike Johnson split the PENNational laurels.

Jared Hawkins claimed the Series' first two events at the Tyler County Speedway and the Thunder Valley Raceway. Jeremy Miller and Ron Delano split the Triple TnT events held at the Hesston Speedway and Zach Dohm held off UFo veteran Keith Barbara to capture the "King of the Bullring" title this past Saturday at the Tyler County Speedway.

PPMS regulars Mike Johnson, Brandon Burgoon, current divisional points leader Michael Davis and Lynn Geisler are expected to challenge the UFo drivers as is 19 year old Michael Norris, who scored his first ever Super Late Model checkered flag at the Imperial, PA oval this past weekend.

Gates will open at 5:00 with warm-ups at 6:00 and racing at 7:00 PM. Adult admission will be $20 with Seniors $19, Juniors 13-16 $10, Children 7-12 $5. Pit admission will be $35.
