Richmond Raceway Presents Mayhem Motorsports Night; $800 to win Mods on June 18

RICHMOND, KY (June 14)-Richmond Raceway track promoters prepare to honor one of their biggest sponsors this Saturday, June 18. Mayhem Motorsports Night will feature a full program of racing for all divisions including an $800 to win main event for the Open Wheel Modifieds.

Joey and Tiffany Tackett want to apologize for chaos in this past Saturday’s program. While the high number of cautions is something beyond race director’s control, the Tackett’s want to assure everyone that measures are being taken to speed up the program. Officials will be checking for RACEceiver’s this Saturday in the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Sportsman divisions. A wrecker has been purchased and is in the shop having necessary repairs made.

For Saturday, June 4 the pit area opens at 5:00 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:00 p.m. A mandatory driver’s meeting will take place at 6:15 p.m. with hot laps set to get underway at 6:45 p.m. Racing begins at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Ticket prices in the grandstand area are $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and kids ages 5 and under are admitted FREE. Pit passes are $25 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids ages 5 and under are also admitted FREE to the pit area.

Anyone in attendance on the grandstand side this Saturday night will receive a voucher worth $2 off grandstand admission to the 24th Annual Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial Tune-Up on July 9. These vouchers will ONLY be valid for the July 9 event and can ONLY be used on the grandstand side.
