PITTSBURGH, PA - June 15, 2011- Summer may not officially begin until June 21st but Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will kick off Summer on Saturday, June 19th as we present the Summer Trophy Championship events for the Hobby Stock and Young Guns Divisions. The Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic DIRTcar Super Late Models, Brougher's Machine Shop FASTRAK/Pro-Lates, Miley Truck and RV Rental DIRTcar UMP E-Mods and the Sunoco Race Fuels DIRTCar Cadets will also be in action. This week's program will also feature the Young Guns competitors competing in the inaugural Winner's Circle Motorsports, LLC Marketing Madness event.

As we celebrate the start of the Summer season, all students in grades K through 12 who present their report card or student ID will receive Free Grandstand Admission this Saturday.

In addition, representatives from the Jamie's Dream Team Charity will be in attendance. The charity was founded by 18 year old Jamie Holmes and works to fulfill the dreams of terminally ill and severely ill children. The charity will be holding various fundraisers throughout the evening. For additional information on the charity please visit their website: http://jamiesdreamteam.org/?page_id=4.

"The Hobby Stock and Young Guns Division competitors have been faithful supporters of our speedway for many years and this week we would like to recognize them for this support with the Summer Trophy Championships," stated track owner Matt Miley.

The Young Guns Marketing Madness feature event will also be sponsored by Winner's Circle Motorsports, LLC. "Other regions of the nation have had great success with events like this," commented Winner's Circle's managing member, Marcie L. Barlow. "I approached Matt with the idea over the winter and he was very receptive to it. Since the competitors in this division do not receive any monetary compensation each week our firm decided to reward them with a variety of contingency awards. These teenagers are the future of our sport and Winner's Circle Motorsports, LLC would like to recognize them for their efforts."

This week's Action Event will also include the first appearance of the Wacky Wheels Figure Eight Mania. This event was originally slated for May 7th but had to be rescheduled due to Mother Nature's lack of cooperation earlier this spring.

Admission prices for the 2011 weekly Action Events are as follows: Adult Grandstand Admission is $13.00. Seniors, Ages 60 and Over, are admitted for $12.00 with Juniors, Ages 13 to 16, priced at $9.00.
