SERIES NOTES: Threatening weather forced us to shuffle the order of events as a B feature was run, then the WISSOTA Street Stock feature and finally the LM main event. LM's were planned to be the second to last feature of the night. Three regular features were canceled after rain entered the area during the 7th lap of the 600 mod feature (followed the LM main).
Mars grabbed the lead from Redetzke only to have a caution come out giving the young gun his lead back.
Redetzke is on a roll. He earned $4,000 on Thursday, June 23rd at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND for Tony Stewart Night. I believe he grabbed two 2nd place finishes at home tracks Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI and Cedar Lake Speedway. He grabbed a $1,000 win last night at MTS from the pole after grabbing the lead away from Eric Breeschoten with 10 or so laps to go in the 25 lap main. With his double-dip back-to-back feature wins, Redetzke earned an extra $500 for MTS. Jake drew #1 at the draw for the heats, then redraws #1 for the feature after being one of the top 8 in passing points after the heats. He should be Vegas bound with all the lady luck he has had the last week to ten days.
Chad Becker had to go to a backup car after having mechanical problems before his heat race. He took the series provisional after failing to qualify from the consi.
Brady Smith pill draw of 99 out of 100. Welcome back to the Challenge Series! Smith advanced 11 positions (14th-3rd) earning the Hard Charger award from Lou Fegers Racing equipment.
