MLRA adds Thunder Hill event, moves I-80 date to doubleheader

BUCKNER, Mo. (July 7) - Lucas Oil MLRA Officials have made some changes to the remaining portion of the 2011 schedule. Saturday August 20th will mark the first visit of the season to Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, KS. The event originally scheduled on May 21st was rained out. This will make a two race swing, with the series in action on Sunday August 21st at the Missouri State Fair Speedway.

Secondly, the September 2nd event at I 80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE has been cancelled. Instead I-80 Speedway has expanded the Annual Cornhusker race into a two day show for the Lucas Oil MLRA. Formerly, the series competed exclusively on the Saturday night portion of the event. Now there will be a Friday show added on September 23rd, to go with the show on September 24th. These will be two separate races with two separate payouts.
