Title: Talladega Short Track - 9/17 Results Post by LMR on 09/18/11 at 1:24pm Talladega Short Track September 17, 2011 ________________________________________ JASON WILSON WINS “VOICEMAN 40” AT TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK by Dennis Anton Eastaboga, AL (September 17) – Jason Wilson picked up the win in the inaugural “Voiceman 40” Perry Holman Memorial Race at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night. Jason Hiett challenged Wilson all race long but had to settle for a runner-up finish with Terry Smith finishing third. Tim Busha finished in the fourth spot with Tim Roszell rounding out the top five. Dustin Stewart won the Thundercar feature event over Adam Cummings who finished second and Chris Blackburn in third. East Region NeSmith Champion Jimmy Elkins Jr. won the twenty-lap Crate Latemodel feature event over Mike Combs who finished second and Carlton Freeman in third. Scottie Hiett won the fifteen lap Modified feature event over Eddie Brannon in second and Luke Riddle third. Chris Yarbrough took the lead on the last lap to win the Thundercar feature event with Zach Shelton finishing second and Sam Hughes third. David Davis won the Street Stock feature event with Dustin Mullinax claiming the win in Hot Shot action. Racing resumes this Saturday Night September 24th featuring a full racing program in all seven exciting divisions. Gates open at 5PM with racing scheduled to begin at 7:30PM.
