ELDORA TO CROWN 2011 CHAMPIONS
Annual Awards Ceremony Set for January 28, 2012 – To Include Sunoco American Late Model Series

ROSSBURG, OH (December 13) – Saturday night, January 28, 2012 will bring an official close to the 2011 Eldora Speedway racing season, with the annual Awards Ceremony in the Eldora Ballroom. And, has become tradition, the Sunoco American Late Model Series (ALMS) will use the affair to crown their champion, as well.

Stepping to the stage as Eldora divisional champions will be Rob Trent in the Stock Cars and Jerry Bowersock in the Modifieds while Jon Henry and Brian Ruhlman will share the Late Model title. Henry will return to the stage a second time as the ALMS champion.

Trophies and point fund money will be distributed to the balance of the top 15 drivers in each of the three Eldora divisions, while the top 20 within the ALMS rankings will be recognized.

Throughout the evening, numerous specialty awards will be announced including rookie of the year, most improved driver, hard luck driver and best appearing car.

The doors to the Ballroom will swing open at 5:00, with the dinner service at 6:30, followed by the awards presentation.

Tickets are priced at $23 per person and may be purchased by forwarding payment to the Eldora Speedway office at 13929 State Route 118 in New Weston, OH 45348. All tickets must be purchased in advance
