Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Technical Bulletin

WAYCROSS, GA (January 4, 2012) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is announcing clarifications and definitions to three (3) rules that will be in immediate effect for the 2012 season.

1. The Traction Control Rule section in the LOLMDS Rule Book has been updated by adding section E.

E. GPS and/or any other type of electronic tracking and/or locating device will not be permitted for any reason.

2. Sail Panel Windows Openings must be the same size on both the left and right sides, they must be in the same location and orientation on both the left and right sides. This will be strictly enforced beginning at East Bay.

3. Body width across the top of doors is now 77 inches with a one inch tolerance. A 25lb weight penalty may be assessed for each additional inch. This will be strictly enforced beginning at East Bay.
