Duck River Speedway Announces 2012 Season Schedule

Wheel, TN (01/20/2012)- Duck River Speedway and Owners Tim Smith and Jim Hastings are proud to announce that weekly racing will be returning to Duck River Speedway during the 2012 season. A partial schedule has been put in place for the first half of the season with the second half to be announced by June 1, 2012.

Classes Running at Duck River Speedway include: Super Late Models, 2 Barrel Late Models, Pure Stock, Outlaw Pony, Pure Stock Pony and Rookie Pony. Rules for all classes can be found at www.duckriverspeedway.net

Events at Duck River will kick off on March 17th with an Open Practice and on March 24th the Season Opener will open the season with racing in all divisions. Special events happening this year are on Sunday May 27th with a $3000 To-Win 40 lap Super Late Model event, on June 9th the KAJUN Mini Stock Series will host an event and on Thursday June 28th the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) returns to Duck River Speedway after a couple years for a $3000 To-Win 40 lap event.

Duck River Speedway looks forward to being back in action and looks to have a successful year of racing and providing fans and racers with some of the best racing in the south as it has in the past. We appreciate everyone’s support and thank each of you for the continued support.
