BEAST Series rolls into Gordon Park Speedway for 2nd Annual Jack Starrette Memorial

For the 2nd time since 2001, super late models are set to roll into the gates of Gordon Park Speedway. On April 28th Rambo' Dennis Franklin will lead the Points of the newly formed BEAST Super Late Model Series and take aim at the $4,000 winner's prize. John Henderson looks to rebound and is ready to defend his title as the previous winner of the Jack Starette Memorial.

Promoters Brian Stewart and Lenny Hobbs, are excited about putting this show on. "If the racing is anything like what was on display at the Modoc 100, we are in for an awesome show", stated Stewart. "Mr. Starette was a pioneer of racing in our area, all over the place really. He has had his name on a lot of cars over the years and has helped this sport survive and thrive, here in the Augusta area. His name has been and can still be seen on cars in this area, and some other areas of South and North Carolina."
