LAMAR SCOGGINS BACK IN BLACK at BOYD's VICTORY LANE

Chattanooga, TN (5/11/12) --- After a few weeks subbing Lamar Scoggins of Georgetown, TN was back in black and back in Victory Lane in Boyd's Speedway Late Model division Friday night. The #32 "M&S Motors, Chattanooga Auto Auction, Chambers Equipment Sales, Bodies by Rick Hixson Fabrication, Outlaw Racing Graphics, Competition Racing Equipment, Gene's Racing Parts" sponsored GRT / Race Engine Design powered driver blew a motor back in mid-April, therefor drove a few races for Richard Austin's #A19 raceteam. Scoggins and former Cleveland Speedway Track Champion Dewayne Powell were the nights FRONT ROW JOE's for the Late Model feature and would be all from the CAT-BIRD's SEAT as Scoggins took command. Friendsville, TN's Mike Weeks chased Scoggins after passing Powell for second but couldn't catch the BLACK BEAUTY. Scoggins will be going for BACK TO BACK wins on Saturday as the hometown driver plans to race Cleveland's Special $1,200 to-WIN LLM/Crate TENN MEMORIAL.

BRIAN PRITCHARD's BIG RED CHEWS UP BOYD's CRATES

Chattanooga, Tenn (5/11/12) – It's back to back victories for the driver of the Big Red Machine; Brian Pritchard of Harrison, Tennessee and his #3 "Ron's Car Wash of Ooltewah, George Shaw Racing, Steven Hogan Racing, Gann, Roofing, Spangler Sheet Metal, Hoosier Tire, Pritchard Racing" sponsored MasterSbilt / GM Performance 604 Bill Hendren powered machine. Friday night BP again held off Jason Welshan to begin his own win streak, winning the 20 lap Crate "A" Main feature race at Boyd's Speedway. Seems Pritchard and his band of Hogans Hero's have gotten the car set-up, perfect for both Chattanooga area dirt track. A win Saturday at Cleveland Speedway would be not nly give the Mild Mannered School Bus Driver a sweep, but put him up to three in-a-row. Pritchard will be vying for a $1,200 payday + the $100 (Crate) bonus at Cleveland on Saturday night for the Tennessee Memorial LLM/Crate Special.
