Saturated Grounds Force Postponement Of Saturday’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Buckeye 50’ At NAPA Wayne County Speedway
With Heavy Mid-Week Rain Dooming Saturday’s Show, National Tour’s Visit To Ohio Track Reset For Fri., May 24

ORRVILLE, OH – April 11, 2013 – Heavy mid-week rain has saturated the grounds of NAPA Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway, forcing the postponement of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Buckeye 50’ scheduled for Saturday night (April 13).

Track and series officials made the announcement on Thursday morning, two days after jointly deciding to condense this weekend’s scheduled multi-day Buckeye 100 into a single evening of competition on Saturday due to forecasts of unfavorable weather conditions.

The Buckeye 50 has been rescheduled for Fri., May 24, preserving the only scheduled WoO LMS event in the state of Ohio in 2013.

Weather has forced MARS Officials to cancel the upcoming MARS race scheduled for this Friday night April 12th at the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO.

Consistent rainfall and the unseasonably low temperatures near the freezing mark have forced the cancellation.

COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Opening Weekend Postponed

Beebe, Arkansas (04/11/13) – Officials with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models have been forced to postpone this weekend's scheduled season openers at Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee) and Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas. Following a brutally wet past few weeks in the area and over two inches of rain that has fallen in the area from Wednesday night into Thursday both tracks were forced to postpone the events.

The doubleheader has been rescheduled for June 21st and June 22nd with Camden Speedway hosting a $2,000-to-win event that Friday night and Riverside International Speedway hosting their $2,000-to-win race on Saturday evening.

Davenport Speedway Corn Belt Clash event rescheduled

DAVENPORT, Ia. (April 11, 2013) – DRT TRAK Racing Inc. officials have elected to reschedule the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series event which was set for this Friday, at the Davenport Speedway. The race has been rescheduled for Friday, May 17th.

The event was rescheduled due to the uncooperative weather we’re experiencing this week. The continued chance of rain for the remainder of this week and evening temperatures in the thirties are just not favorable to putting together a good racetrack and putting on a good racing program.
The rescheduled event will also include IMCA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, DTR Street Stocks, and 4-Stocks all competing on the big half-mile track. Additional details on this event will be announced at a later date.

Deery Brothers Summer Series

Deery dates at West Liberty, Dubuque are postponed

VINTON, Iowa (April 12) – Too much rain plus too much cold adds up to a pair of weekend postponements for the Deery Brothers Summer Series.

The IMCA Late Model tour event at West Liberty Raceway has been rescheduled from Saturday, April 13 until Tuesday, June 18. The Sunday, April 14 event at Dubuque Speedway is now on the calendar for Wednesday, May 8. That race was originally postponed from April 5. Both features will pay $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Other divisions running each evening are to be announced.

The series next travels to Davenport Speedway on Friday, April 19 and to Farley Speedway on Saturday, April 20.
