ULMS Late Models Return to Sharon Speedway For $3,000 Prize

East Smethport, PA (October 2, 2013) The NDRL's ULMS Late Models will make their fourth and final visit to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio this upcoming Saturday, October 5 for the $3,000 to-win 'Super Late Model Showdown IV'.

Three different drivers have found their way to victory lane in the three previous ULMS events at the historic 3/8 mile Ohio oval. Greensburg, Pennsylvania's Davey Johnson took the first event in April while ULMS point leader Mike Knight of Ripley, New York captured the checkered flag in June. Bear Lake, Pennsylvania's Boom Briggs was victorious in July, the tour's most recent visit to Sharon Speedway.

Mike Knight of Ripley, New York continues to lead the NDRL's ULMS 2013 Championship point standings over Bear Lake, Pennsylvania's Rick 'Boom' Briggs. Centerville, Pennsylvania's Robbie Blair sits third in the championship standings while Matt Urban from North East, Pennsylvania is fourth just ahead of fifth place Jason Dupont of Cyclone, Pennsylvania. Greg Oakes, Russell King, Dave Hess Jr., Brent Rhebergen, and David Scott round out the top-ten.

Pits open at 4:00pm Saturday with grandstands at 5:00pm. Qualifying for the Late Models will take place at 6:30pm with racing at 7:00pm. Grandstand admission for those 14 and over is $15.00, while children under 14 are always free. Pit passes are $35.00. Parking and camping is always free.

The ULMS will be in action with the National Dirt Racing League's 'Let's Get Dirty Tour' on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 for the 25th Annual Silver Anniversary 'Pittsburgher 100' as they compete $10,000 to-win on Friday and a whopping $25,000 to-win on Saturday.
