Title: Dennis Erb Jr Debuts New BWRC at Magnolia; LOLMDS Doubleheader Post by LMR on 06/19/14 at 5:37pm FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 19, 2014 _______________________________________ Dennis Erb, Jr. Debuts New BWRC at Magnolia; LOLMDS Doubleheader Ahead ![]() CARPENTERSVILLE, IL (June 19) - Dennis Erb Racing unloaded a brand-new Barry Wright racecar on June 13-14 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the annual running of the 'Clash at the Mag.' A strong field of 44 competitors signed into the pit area at "The Mag," all of whom were vying for the huge $20,000 top prize. In preliminary action on Friday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. timed in thirteenth fastest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to running into problems in his heat race that led to an eleventh place finish. Dennis then placed ninth in his consolation race on Saturday, but received a series provisional to gain access into the 100-lap 'Clash at the Mag.' In front of the television cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios, the Carpentersville, Illinois native was able to move past twelve cars during the extra-distance affair to salvage an eleventh place performance out of the weekend. Dennis still sits ninth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings following the trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway. Full results from the 'Clash at the Mag' can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com. The #28 team will follow the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the states of South Carolina and Tennessee on June 20-21 for two more high-profile programs.
