Daniel Baggerly Finds No Luck in Weekend Visit to Virginia Motor Speedway

RURAL RETREAT, VA (September 4) - Daniel Baggerly and the B&B Motorsports team once again made the trip to the state-of-the-art Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday night, August 30. The weekly Aaron's Pro Late Model event at VMS boasted an $800 winner's check.

Daniel earned Fast Time honors for the evening, as he paced the entire field during the qualifying session. After redrawing the fourth starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the A-Main, Daniel was unfortunately caught up in a first lap pileup involving many of the leaders. The Rural Retreat, Virginia native wound up retiring from the race with damage and was placed thirteenth in the final rundown. With his fairly-new CVR racecar banged up from the incident last Saturday evening, Daniel and his #16 team will need a few weeks off to make sure everything is fixed properly and ready to go for the end of the season.
