Friday's MLRA Fall Nationals cancelled due to weather, Saturday still on

WHEATLAND, MO (October 10) - The opening night of the ABC 17 MLRA Fall Nationals scheduled for Friday, Oct. 10th has been cancelled due to the heavy overnight rains and the threat of additional rain throughout the afternoon.

"As much as we wanted to get tonight's event in, Mother Nature just wasn't willing to cooperate." stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson. "The weather for Saturday looks much better so we should be able to get Saturday's racing in as scheduled."

The racing for Saturday, Oct. 11th will run as scheduled with the following adjustments.

The $5,000 to win, 50-lap MLRA event will run as scheduled although the field will be set by passing points.

The Factory Stock Shootout Presented by O'Dell Trucking will be condensed to a one-day show but will be run in it's entirety including time trials, heat races, b-mains, and the $2,500 to win, 50-Lap main event.

The $500 to win, 25-Lap USRA B-Modified event courtesy of Kathy Stanley Realty will run as scheduled.

Saturday, Oct. 11th Information

Spectator gates will open at 2pm.
