Title: SUPR at Lonestar Speedway - 11/29 Results Post by LMR on 11/29/14 at 11:09pm SUPR Late Model Series Lonestar Speedway November 29, 2014 _______________________________________ Patrik Daniel Enjoys Career Best in Turkey Nationals at Lone Star Speedway by Ben Shelton WILLS POINT, Texas (December 1) - After more than a month away from the track Patrik enjoyed a memorable outing on Saturday night during the Turkey Nationals at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas). Daniel not only claimed the $5,000 feature win in his Daniel Motorsports #75 1st Class Auto Class/Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model, but also drove his #75 LG21 Open Wheel Modified to a $1,200 victory. ![]() The Super Late Model ranks saw thirty-five entries registered for the $5,000-to-win program, which was sanctioned by the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) tour. Patrik used a heat race win to lock into the fourth starting position for the 40 lap finale. Daniel jumped to the lead as the race went green, holding the top spot until he jumped the cushion near the halfway point allowing Robert Baker slip past. Daniel stayed glued to the rear bumper of Baker before taking control once again with just three laps remaining and going on to take the checkered flag ahead of Baker, Jon Mitchell, Tyler Erb, and Chandler Petty. The victory marked the richest of his Patrik's career. In the Open Wheel Modified division Patrik also won his preliminary heat race, which positioned him starting outside-front-row for the feature. Daniel assumed the point at the drop of the green flag and led wire-to-wire to victory lane over Wes Armstrong, Phil Dixon, Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Jason Ingalls. Daniel Motorsports would like to dedicate their victories in memory of their friend, Austin Fields. Austin, age 18, recently lost his life in a car accident. A senior in high school who had a passion for cars and racing unlike any other, Austin will truly be missed. "Both of these wins are definitely dedicated to Austin," an emotional Daniel said in victory lane. "He was a special young man, and it's only fitting to get my biggest win ever in his memory."
