Brandon Kinzer Concludes 2015 Campaign in Talladega Short Track Double Dip

ALLEN, KY (October 30) - The Kinzer Motorsports team wrapped up their version of the 2015 racing season on October 23-24 in a doubleheader at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama, which accompanied NASCAR's visit across the road at Talladega Superspeedway. Things kicked off at TST on Friday night with an unsanctioned, $2,000 to win showdown. Brandon Kinzer timed in sixth fastest in his group during qualifying and later grabbed the second transfer spot through his B-Main. After thirty green flag racing laps in the feature, BK found himself in the thirteenth finishing position in the weekend lid lifter.

On Saturday evening, the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) gang rolled into town and a $4,000 top prize was on the line. Brandon qualified twelfth quickest in his group during SAS time trials prior to placing fourth in his consolation race. After receiving a series provisional to gain access into the 40-lap headliner, the Allen, Kentucky ace was able to climb up to fifteenth on the predominantly one-groove racing surface. Brandon and his #18 team entered twenty-eight (28) races during the course of their 2015 campaign. While they were unfortunately kept out of victory lane, Brandon was able to amass four (4) Top Five finishes and ten (10) Top Ten performances throughout the season. He knocked down a season-best third place effort on July 4 in a $5,000 to win show at Brownstown (IN) Speedway and on July 24 in a $3,000 to win special at Ponderosa (KY) Speedway.
