Title: Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing Opener Postponed to Saturday Post by LMR on 02/04/16 at 11:34pm FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 4, 2016 ________________________________________ Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing Opener Postponed to Saturday morning LOLMDS PR WAYNESVILLE, GA (February 4) - Due to heavy rain, tonight's opener to the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway has been postponed until Saturday, February 6th. The event on Friday, February 5th will go on as scheduled with pit gates opening at 12:00PM and the grandstands opening at 3:30PM. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series drivers meeting will take place at 4:30PM, followed by hot laps at 5:00PM. Friday night's event includes a full program of: Hot Laps, Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-Lap, $10,000-to-win main event. On Saturday, February 6th the pits will be cleared and re-open at 8:00AM. Pit passes for both the Saturday morning make-up event and the Saturday night event must be purchased on Saturday morning. The grandstands will open at 10:00AM. The drivers meeting will take place at 10:30AM with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series hot laps set for 11:00AM. Saturday morning's Edwin Coggins Memorial includes a full program of Hot Laps, Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 30-lap, $7,000-to-win main event. At the conclusion of the Saturday morning make-up events, the grandstand gates will be cleared and re-open. Saturday night's program will see hot laps beginning at 5:00PM followed by a full program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 60-lap, $15,000-to-win Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing finale.
