CLEVELAND, Tennessee (July 10) – Riley Hickman entered a trio of events over the Fourth of July weekend in his #R1 BIF Motorsports/Hickman Manufacturing Company/CVR  Super Late Model that brought him his ninth victory of the season and a pair of top five finishes.

The team traveled to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Tennessee) on Thursday evening for the annual Freedom 40, which posted a $3,000 top prize for competitors. Twenty-eight competitors entered the event, and after qualifying fifth fastest in his group Riley went on to finish third in heat race action. As a result he started twelfth on the grid for the 40 lap feature. During the course of the finale Hickman advanced to a fifth place finish behind race winner John Ownbey, Tim Busha, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, and Eric Hickerson. Friday night found the team pitted a Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) for a $2,000-to-win program at the oval. Riley locked into the main event via preliminary action and raced his entry  to a solid third place finish in the final rundown. Full results from the event can be found at www.MoultonRaceway.com .

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night with the $3,000-to-win, Firecracker 50 at Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fort Payne, Alabama). After timing in fourth fastest during qualifications, Hickman charged from his second row starting spot to claim his ninth win of the 2014 season in the 50 lap feature. "Obviously when you are winning you are happy, but this has just been a really fun year so far," said Hickman. "We've had the opportunity to race at a lot of different tracks, and we've really enjoyed some good success. At this point, I can't wait until the next race."

The next events for Hickman will come this weekend, July 11th-12th, with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) plays host to a $5,000-to-win event on Friday night, while North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) will be the scene of a $4,000-to-win affair on Saturday evening.  For more information on the events please visit www.UltimateSupers.com .
