WINCHESTER, VA (July 2) - The rain postponed Ultimate Super Late Model Series "Colonial Clash" got back under way last Saturday at Winchester Speedway with Indiana Pa.'s Gregg Satterlee scoring the popular win, The win for Satterlee, worth $5000, was his first Winchester feature win of the season and his first with the traveling Ultimate Super Late Model Series.

Dennis "Rambo" Franklin and Gregg Satterlee shared the front row for the start of the 50-lap main with Franklin surging into the race lead as the field roared into turn one with Satterlee in tow, The lead duo waged hand to hand combat for the first 18 laps before Satterlee boomed by on the 19th lap to become the new race leader, Satterlee would eventually pace the remaining laps, but would have to survive a slew of late race cautions to post the victory aboard his Satterlee Petroleum, Rocket XR-1 no.22. "I love when this place when it has a big cushion on it like it has here tonight." Satterlee stated in his post race interview. "Greg (Gunter) had this place real racy tonight and I hope we put on a good show for the fans." The yellow flags towards the end of the event made Satterlee a bit nervous. "I didn't need those yellows." Satterlee bottom lined, "I didn't think our car was taking off as fast as it should on the restarts but it helped having clear track once we got going and it feels great to get our team a win here tonight" Runner up Jason Covert was pleased with his performance.
