Hunter Rasdon Rallies for CCSDS Win at Greenville

Greenville, Mississippi (09/04/16) – Hunter Rasdon padded his advantage atop the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil by bagging a thrilling $2,500 victory at Greenville Speedway on Sunday evening.

Rasdon only led three circuits at the ¼-mile oval, but it was the most important laps of the race. The Jonesboro, Arkansas racer overtook pole sitter, and race-long leader, B.J. Robinson on lap 33 and went on to score the victory. The win is his fifth of the season on the tour.

Oil pump issues while leading his heat, forced Jack Sullivan to utilize a provisional to start the finale in the 17th-starting spot. Despite starting deep in the field Sullivan raced through the field to round out the podium finishers. Clay Fisher and Ray Moore completed the Top 5.
