NeSMITH CHEVROLET UNVEILS THE GM PERFORMANCE CT 525 SPEC ENGINE

CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet of Claxton, GA unveiled the new economical GM Performance CT 525 Spec Engine at the 1st Annual Southern Connection Motorsports Expo in Tupelo, MS last Friday and Saturday. Racers had a positive reaction to the new engine that has been approved for competition in the new NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series.

Representatives from NeSmith Chevrolet and the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series were on hand at the Southern Connection Motorsports Expo to meet racers and answer questions about the new GM Performance CT 525 Engine and the new series.
The NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series will allow many types of engines to compete that include open super late model engines, spec engines, and GM Performance Crate Engines using weight and spoiler sizes to crate a level playing field. Five states that include Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida will each run separate 10-race series that will pay a minimum of $1,000 to each champion.

Driver will also compete for a NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Southeastern Regional Championship that will pay $10,000 to the top point driver, and a $5,000 bonus from NeSmith Chevrolet if they use a CT 525 engine purchased and tagged from NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA in 75 percent of the races.

A driver can compete in as many events in as many states as they wish, and their Top 10 finishes will count towards their NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Regional point total. Drivers must be members of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series to be eligible to earn points and point fund money, but membership is not required to compete in the series.

The GM Performance CT 525 Spec Engine is a 575 horsepower all-aluminum engine that can be purchased at NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA for $10,100 race-ready dressed out with everything except the carburetor with free next-day delivery anywhere in the Southeast. To place an order, call Tim Bland at NeSmith Chevrolet at 1-877-497-3624.
