HAGERSTOWN SPEEDWAY POSTPONES 2010 SEASON OPENER

Remnants from back to back snow storms that dumped over 40 inches of snow at the speedway forced Promoter Frank Plessinger to postpone the February 27, 2010 season opener.  “We can’t seem to get a break with the weather for our opening dates”, said Plessinger. “It has been since 2002 that we started our season on the scheduled date.”

This week’s postponed event will move forward to Saturday March 6th and will be the Octoberfest qualifier for the Big Block Modifieds and Late Models.  Pit gates will open at 10:00 a.m. with the grandstands opening at 11:00 a.m. hot laps begin at 1:00 p.m. with race time at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Should Saturday's weather be a factor, Sunday could be used as a possible makeup date. Times will remain the same.
