The New “Clash South Tour” debuts April 3rd at Lancaster Motor Speedway

The Clash South Tour Super Late Model Series will start its inaugural season at the high banked half mile of the Lancaster Motor Speedway in Lancaster, SC on April 3rd. The Clash South Tour will consist of approximately 12 races this season throughout the states of South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. The New Series will share many traits as the Carolina Clash Series but will be a separate racing Series from the Carolina Clash.

The Clash South Tour will consist of a separate point structure and points champion. Series officials are working to schedule races that do not conflict between the Clash South Tour Series and the Carolina Clash Series. “We want to give drivers the chance to run both Series” stated Series Director Larry Lee. The Clash South Tour will have a Rookie of the Year Champion for the 2010 season. The criteria for the Clash South Tour ROY will be much like the Carolina Clash ROY.

In the Clash South Tour Series, drivers will have the option to run either American Racer or Hoosier Tires this season. The Carolina Clash will remain solely American Racers. Current Schedules for both Series can be found at www.CarolinaClash.com

Clash South Tour Officials are working on a Clash South Tour Super Late Model Series website. Updates on the Series will continue to be posted on the Carolina Clash website until the New Clash South Tour website is up and running.

July 10 Lavonia Speedway – Lavonia, GA $3,500 to win
August 21 Lavonia Speedway – Lavonia, GA $3,500 to win
August 28 Screven Motor Speedway – Sylvania, GA $5,000 to win
