TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK READIES FOR 33RD SEASON OPENER THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

Eastaboga, AL (March 8, 2010) – Talladega Short Track officials are gearing up for another season of action packed racing which kicks off this Saturday Night, March 13th in the 33rd anniversary season opener event at the 1/3 mile clay oval.

Seven exciting divisions of racing will highlight the 2010 racing season including the ground-pounding Super Late Models, Sportsman, Crate Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Thundercars, Hot Shots and Street Stocks.

A special start time will be used this Saturday Night as still cool conditions plague the Southeast.

Grandstand and Pit Gates will open at 3:30PM on Saturday with the mandatory drivers meeting scheduled for 5:30PM. Hot Laps will then start at 5:45 with racing to follow.

Be sure to arrive early and visit the fan information table and sign-up for a chance to win several different times throughout the night.

Grandstand admission will be ten ($10) for adults with kids nine (9) and under admitted free. Pit passes are twenty-five ($25) with kids three (3) and under free.
