A & G Electric plus Big Surf Water Park Night at the Races this Saturday, June 12th!

Wheatland, MO (June 8th, 2010) - Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri roars back to life this Saturday, June 12th as A & G Electric and Big Surf Water Park present the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series featuring the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks. Kids ages 10 and under will receive a FREE ticket to Big Surf and Gil will be on hand giving out FREE t-shirts and posing for pictures! Representatives from A and G Electric will also be on hand with FREE prizes and giveaways.

Browning, Missouri's Tommy Cordray driving his familiar blue #5 MasterSbilt sits atop the TNT Quick Shop Late Model Season standings with a 23 point lead over Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelley. Kelley picked up the win on May 22nd as Cordray held on for second. Joe Walkenhorst hailing from Lees Summit, Missouri occupies the third spot, just 44 markers behind the leader. Dustin Walker and Ben Solberg sit in a tie for fourth, 49 points behind Cordray. A strong field of TNT Quick Shop Late Models is expected this weekend after having the last two weekends off to regroup and get their high powered machines ready for racing action at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks".

The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds class has turned into the Jesse Stovall show thus far in 2010 but with the intense competition filling his mirror each night, it's only a matter of time before a new winner visits victory lane. Stovall has now won 6 races in a row behind the wheel of his Hoffman race car after scoring both support class wins at last weekend's 18th Annual DART Show-Me 100. "The Undertaker" has now opened up a 113 point lead over a surging Jason Pursley out of Wheatland, Missouri. Pursley had struggled early but has found his rhythm as of late as he has moved into the second spot in the season long points battle. Archie, Missouri's Tim Setzer sits in the third spot behind Pursley with Laquey, Missouri's David Hendrix now in the fourth spot. Cross Timbers, Missouri's Jeff Cutshaw rounds out the Top-5, 130 points behind Stovall.

Camdenton, Missouri's Kenny Carroll leads the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks with 157 points as Wheatland, Missouri's Chip Shaddox sits in the second spot just 27 points behind Carroll. Fellow Wheatland resident Randy Gilmore holds down the third spot while Republic, Missouri's Burl Woods resides in fourth place in the season long battle for the Championship. Nixa, Missouri's Bradley Gideon joins the top-5 this week just 55 points out of the lead.

Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under way at 6:30 and the first big race of the night at 7:05pm. Adult Admission at the gate is just $12 with Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors (6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket.
