Rain Wins at the Return of the Late Models at Thunderbird Speedway; Reset for July 10

MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- After on and off showers all evening the rain finally prevailed to take the win in the Reunion Showdown on July 3 at the Thunderbird Speedway.

Fans will have to wait one more week until the Midwest DIRTcar Late Model Series hits the track, with racing now set to Saturday July 10 at the historic half mile.

A nice crowd had moved into the Speedway before the event was postponed to watch the return of Late Models since 2003.

Next week will be a similar agenda to this week, with pit gates open at 5PM, grandstands shortly after, hot laps at 7PM and racing at 7:30PM.

All of the original scheduled classes return and fans and pit crew members who still have their stubs and armbands can use them to get in with.
