$5 Fan Appreciation Night August 7th and Ladies Powder Puff Race Scheduled For Columbus Speedway Plus Power Wheels and Bicycle Race for the Kids

Columbus, Mississippi (08/03/10) - Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi returns to action with $5 Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday Night, August 7th.  The event will be highlighted by the Ladies Powder Puff Race Presented by Kountry Kitchen and Power Wheels and Bicycle Races for the Kids.  The ladies will be battling door-to-door and fender-to-fender in Street Stocks and Mini Stocks, so you don’t want to miss a minute of the action!

Also, in action this Saturday night at the Baddest Bullring in the South will be the Commercial Dispatch Super Late Models, NeSmith Late Models, Late Model Stocks, Street Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Mini Stocks.

On Saturday, August 7th the pit gate opens at 3pm with the grandstand gates opening at 5pm.  The driver’s meeting is at 7pm with Racing at 8pm. Grandstand admission is $5.00. Pit admission is $25.00.
