The Carolina Clash Returns to Fayetteville Motor Speedway August 14th

On July 31st the Carolina Clash attempted to run a 40 lap $4,000 to win race at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. The Carolina Clash Drivers were able to get in hot laps, qualifying, and two laps of the main event before the rain began to fall.

After about an hour, the rain stopped and the track crew took to the track to get the track rolled back in. After 30 minutes, the track was coming along wonderfully and the rain came back leaving no chance of seeing the checkered flag fly. Fayetteville Motor Speedway Officials and Carolina Clash Officials made the decision the race finish would have to be postponed to a later date.

The Carolina Clash will return to Fayetteville Motor Speedway on August 14th to complete the event. With 2 laps complete in the main event, the field will line up where they left off and finish out the remaining 38 laps. The Drivers will get a hot lap session prior to the main event.
