MARS goes head to head with MLRA at Springfield Raceway

The MARS DIRTcar Series Late Models will return to the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO for the Larry Phillips Memorial on Saturday September 18th in a head to head challenge with the MLRA.

5-time and defending MARS series champion and current point leader Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO will lead the martians into battle with a top prize of $3,000 on the line. Other drivers expected include Eric Turner, Jeremy Payne and Leroy Johnson of Springfield, MO; Al Purkey of Coffeyville, KS; Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Darrell Mooneyham, Dustin Mooneyham and Justin Wells of Aurora, MO; Ken Essary of Cape Fair, MO; Rylan Long of Lockwood, MO; Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO; Brandon McCormick and Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO and many more.

Pit Gates open at 3:00pm and racing at 7:15pm. Support classes will be Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-mods and Legends.

Adult admission is $20, kid’s 6-12 $5 and 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.00
