Results from Laraway Motorsports

The 2010 racing season came to an end for Laraway Motorsports on Friday, September 10, at Dog Hollow Speedway with the last scheduled race of the 2010 Coal Country Championship Series. Dane finished second in his heat race and finished seventh in the feature. Sammy Stile won his heat race and finished third in the feature event. While the dust settled after the feature race the points were tallied, and with the championship title hanging on just a few points the evening of racing saw Sammy finish second overall in the points standings at Dog Hollow Speedway, just 6 points out of first place. Dane finished third in points for the year at Dog Hollow Speedway.

Laraway Motorsports has already started the process of preparing for the 2011 racing season. The process involves completely tearing down the chassis, engines, transmissions and rearends. The off season is an excellent time to catch up on organizing the trailer and the shop, and that is exactly what Laraway Motorsports intends to do. The 2011 race season will be here before we know it.

Throughout the winter months we will occasionally email updates as to how the 2011 preparations are progressing.

For the 2011 season, Sammy Stile will not be racing for Laraway Motorsports. After 25 years on the local race circuit Sammy is looking to scale back his racing. It has been an enjoyable four years of having Sammy Stile and his family as members of the Laraway Motorsports Team. We wish him the best.
