Scott Creel Ready For 16th Annual Fall Classic 100

Franklinton, Louisiana (10/19/10) – Scott Creel will make the trek to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) this weekend, October 21st-23rd, for the 16th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic in his #31 Creel Brothers/ Mastersbilt/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Creel, who is the current Southern All Star Racing Series Rookie of the Year point’s leader, will invade Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) this weekend, October 21st-23rd for the 16th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic. The event is expected to draw many of the nation’s best drivers and will boast a purse that includes $15,000 to win and $1,000 to start for the 100 lap finale. The weekend gets underway with an Open Practice Session on Thursday night. Friday night will see the racing festivities kick off with time trials and heat race action. Saturday night will be headlined by b-mains and the 100 lap feature. More information on the event can be found at www.WhynotMotorsportsPark.com .

Scott took part in a pair of events last weekend in Georgia and Tennessee. Friday night, October 15th found Voodoo Motorsports in action at Boyds Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia for a $3,000 to win, Volunteer Racing Series event. With 35 Super Late models entered, Scott blazed to the fastest lap in qualifying. After starting on the front row for his heat, he finished in the second slot to lock into the fifth starting spot for the feature. Creel was excited about his chances for the main event, but an ill-handling car would relegate him to a 14th place finish in the final rundown.

On Saturday, October 16th the team entered the 20th Annual Grant Adcox Memorial at Cleveland Speedway (Cleveland, Tennessee). With 30 Super Late Models on hand, Creel earned the 13th starting spot for the feature event. Early in the event he would slip back to as far as 15th before mountin a charge through the pack that would see him record a 9th place finish in the $4,000 to win event at the lightning fast oval.

Voodoo Motorsports would like to thank all of their sponsors including Creel Brothers, J&J Motorsports, Pro Power Racing Engines, All Star Performance, VP Racing Fuelds, Randy LaJoie Racing Seats, Mastersbilt Race Cars, Ohlins Shocks, Hoosier Racing Tires, Xtreme Graphics By J-Rod, MSRMafia.com, Team Voodoo Racing, and ASI Racewear.
