Volunteer Racing Series Championship Awards Banquet will take place on Sat Nov 20th in Knoxville, TN

Somerset, KY (October 30, 2010)--The Inaugural Campaign of the Volunteer Racing Series will officially come to a close on Saturday Night November 20, 2010 at the Bearden Banquet Hall located in Knoxville, TN.

The Banquet will honor the top-10 in the final point standings along with some special awards and recognition to certain individuals from the 2010 racing season.

The doors will open at 7:00 pm EST with dinner being served at 7:30 pm EST.

The menu will feature a choice of Pork Tenderloin and/or Lemon Pepper Chicken with two vegetables, salad and, choice of drink and desert. A cash bar will be set up during the evening's festivities. Dress for the event is casual.

Mike Weeks of Friendsville, TN will officially be crowned the 2010 Volunteer Racing Series Points Champion and Ross White of Knoxville, TN will officially be crowned the 2010 Volunteer Racing Series Cruise with the Champions sponsored Rookie of the Year Champion.

Points fund monies will be distributed and awards inside the top-10 will be handed out during the Awards Banquet.

Seats may be reserved by an RSVP to Chris Tilley at (606) 219-1723. Tickets will be on sale for $25.00 per person in advance by sending a check to CT Marketing, PO Box 590, Somerset, KY 42502. Please mark how many persons will be attending and dinner meat selection choice. Tickets will also be sold at the door but individuals wanting a seat need to RSVP no later than Wednesday November 17, 2010.
