Bub McCool Heads West For Wild West Shootout

Vicksburg, MS (01/04/11) – After a busy offseason of preparing his equipment for possibly the most ambitious schedule of his career, Bub McCool will open the 2011 season at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) with the 5th Annual Wild West Shootout.

For the first time in his career, McCool is making the long trip west in his #57J McCool Logging/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model. He will take part in the 5th Annual Wild West Shootout that will be highlighted by six big events over the course of nine days at the lightning fast oval. The racing series gets underway with an Open Practice Session on January 7th before seeing the racing action officially underway on Saturday, January 8th with a $3,000 to win event. A host of $3,000 and $5,000 to win events will be held over the next several days before wrapping up on Sunday, January 16th with $10,000 to win, Bill Cheesbourg Memorial. January 15th: USA Raceway (Tucson, AZ) - $3,000 To Win
January 16th: USA Raceway (Tucson, AZ) - $10,000 To Win
