“We’re happy to have NEA Speedway as a part of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series for 2011,” NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Director Roby Helm said. “There has been a lot of excitement in Arkansas about bringing back weekly dirt late model racing, and we’re glad to be able to provide an economical and competitive way to make it happen for the tracks, competitors and fans.”
In addition to structuring the track and Regional point funds, the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series provides technical support and public relations support for its sanctioned tracks and member competitors.
“We work hard to make sure the competition is fair and that the tracks, their competitors, and their sponsors get the media exposure they’re due,” Helm said. “The NeSmith Weekly Racing Series gives dirt late model drivers the opportunity to compete on the national stage without having to leave their local track, but if they wish to travel, they have the choice to compete at another track in their Region and race under the same rules.”
