STARS Volunteer Racing Series adds date at TN National Raceway for October 1st

Somerset, KY --The STARS Volunteer Racing Series is pleased to announce an addition to the 2011 racing schedule, bringing the total number of races for the season to 15.

An agreement between STARS VRS Director Chris Tilley and Tennessee National Raceway Owner/Promoter John Mosier was reached to sanction an event on Saturday Night October 1st paying $6,000 to win / $600 to start for the STARS VRS Super Late Models.

'We are very pleased to be working with John (Mosier) and his crew for this event, our second highest paying event of the season and with the great start money, race teams should be in for a nice treat that night. I've worked with John and some of his crew before and they do a great job,' stated Chris Tilley of the STARS Volunteer Racing Series.
