2011 CLEVELAND SPEEDWAY SEASON OPENER SATURDAY MARCH 19TH

Cleveland, TN (3/18/11) -- Last season over 250 raceteams competed between March and November, now that the 16th edition of the SHAMROCK is in the record books the 2011 Cleveland (TN) Speedway season opener is planned for this Saturday night, March 19th. A Full Weekly Program for all five (5) regular competing divisions is slated. This year Late Models top the card of action, and many raceteam plan to enter, following last weekends $10,000 to-WIN Southern All-Star series event. Look for seasoned veterans to be in action such as 2010 Track Champion Todd Morrow, to Rick Hixson all the way to 2011 Rookie LM continder Tanner Works should be in action. Qualifying and Heat races will determine starting orders for all of the classes. Limiteds, Hobby, Pony and FWD divisions will all see action on a regular basis. Gates are slated to open at 4PM EST, Saturday afternoon, with hot lap practice beginning about 7PM after the Drivers Meeting.
